West World the home of the Barret Jackson Auto Auction, was a combination of structural steel and pre-engineered metal building structures. The North Hall where the Auction is held was a 285' clear span, with a overall building length of 416'. Two cranes where used simultaneously to erect the main rafter members.
The Equidome, where the main horse arena is, had the roof completely removed, all while structurally reinforcing the exisiting Pre-engineered building rafters, columns, and girts. The structure was then reroofed, and new construction of the mezzanine, stairs, and multiple types of rail including the addition of two new steel and masonry bathroom buildings with architecural steel screen walls was completed.
Attached to the Equidome are two additional Pre-engineered metal buildings being the Paddock and South Hall both erected by Castle Steel Inc.
